Cancellation Policy

All bookings are accepted by CCG 008 Investments (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) subject to the following terms and conditions, with the client referred to as “the customer”. To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the applicable venue hire fee is required, together with a fully completed and signed contract. The remaining balance of all venue hire and function charges must be settled no later than one (1) week prior to the event date. Failure to pay either the deposit or the outstanding balance will entitle the company to cancel the booking. The customer shall notify the company in writing of the expected number of attendees no less than three (3) clear working days before the event. This figure must fall within 10% of the estimated number stated on the booking form. All prices quoted at the time of enquiry will be honoured by the company for a period of 30 days only. A booking is confirmed once the 50% deposit and a fully completed and signed contract have been received. In the event of circumstances beyond the company’s control that render performance of its obligations impracticable, the company shall be entitled to cancel the booking without incurring any liability to the customer. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, damage to or destruction of any venue (whether by fire or otherwise), strikes, lockouts, industrial unrest, shortage of labour, and shortage of food or beverage supplies. Undesirability: Any event will be deemed undesirable if it, or any part thereof, portrays attributes that are indecent, obscene, offensive or harmful to public morals, or blasphemous or offensive to the religious convictions or feelings of any section of the community. The determination of undesirability rests at the sole discretion of the company. Indemnification: The company shall not be liable for the loss, theft, or damage to any property belonging to the customer or their guests whilst on the company’s premises, except where such loss or damage is directly caused by the negligence of the company, its staff, or agents. Any property left on the premises remains entirely at the risk of the owner. Customers are advised to arrange their own insurance for such risks.
