Thank you for your interest in joining the Breakthru Dance and Movement Crew! We're so excited to have you with us! Here are some details on what to expect and how to prepare. This is just a guideline to give some structure to the time, there is no pressure to perform! Attire: Please dress modestly and in comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Age: The Movement Crew is open to anyone with a love for dance and worship — starting from age 15, with no upper age limit! Please be prepared to give a short introduction & motivation on the following (max 3-4 minutes): • What do you love most about dance? • Tell us a little about your dance background. • What excites you about being part of the Movement Crew? • When you think about worship, what does it mean to you personally? Your audition will consist of the following: 1. A Prepared Piece (Props Optional) – Choose your own song and bring a prepared piece. Props are completely optional; you may use as many as you want, but if you do, please keep ≈70% of the piece without props and ≈30% with props. 2. An Unprepared / Improvised Piece – We will provide the music. This will be spontaneous, free movement (unprepared, improvised piece). We look forward to seeing you there!
